The Porte Story
Porte Networks LLC is a family-owned business founded by a team with over 20 years of experience in Engineering, Technology and Business Administration. From a former student employee in a University IT department pursuing Engineering and Computer Science, to becoming a Network Engineer working in the Oil and Gas Industry designing industrial automation and controls networks, then moving into the Data Center space as an Infrastructure Engineer for a large MSP; our Co-Founder Corey Patin has had a tenured career in technological spaces. Paula Patin, Porte Networks LLC’s President and Co-Founder brings structure, logistics, and process to the team through her years of Business Administration in Manufacturing, Realty, and Tech firms.
We are built on top of the knowledge and experiences gained from our unique and varied backgrounds. As a network engineer in Oil and Gas, Corey was tasked with designing and implementing a large-scale OT network of thousands of automation and controls devices spanning dozens of central processing facilities and hundreds of well sites. In the Data Center space large-scale networks become worldwide networks as the upper bound of projects are removed entirely.
We are a small business which takes the lessons learned from large enterprise and leverages that knowledge to solve your IT, OT, and connectivity problems. We provide Network Engineering, IT consulting, and Connectivity through Data Centers and Internet Service Provider partnerships. We design, implement and manage solutions for light industrial, municipal, small and medium sized businesses, ISPs, WISPs, and other tech companies and MSPs. If you live in certain rural Texas or Louisiana markets, your home internet may be delivered via a Porte Network.
